Midford Castle is located a short taxi ride from Bath city centre in the stunning Midford Valley, An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. As you arrive, you’ll come down a private driveway to the Castle’s 50 acre grounds, which you can explore and wander during your stay. Each property has been beautifully restored by Scott and offers luxury finishes throughout. Extras like your hot tub, BBQ equipment and a bottle of fizz when you book direct, are all inclusive in the price you pay. Our largest property sleeps 18 and costs just £1,650/night, so you can enjoy an unforgettable hen do at the Castle for under £100 per person.
Staying at the Castle
There’s two main, large properties on the Castle’s grounds available to let. The first is The Priest (sleeps 12), a lovingly converted former chapel and stables with 3 super king bedrooms and 2 singles. The Priest can also be let separately as The Stables (sleeps 4) or The Chapel (sleeps 8). For larger parties, you can book The Castle Vaults (sleeps 18), located on the Castle’s lower groundfloor with a stunning panoramic private patio. The Vaults is mainly made up of single beds and one king size bed, but is ideal for larger parties. It can also be let as The Wine Cellar (sleeps 4) or The Hen (sleeps 12).
What's included in your stay?
You’ll experience gorgeous valley views at all our holiday lets, with each property situated on the Castle’s private 50 acre grounds. Every property has an exclusive hot tub, a private terrace with BBQ equipment and tastefully decorated, spacious living and dining areas. The Priest (including The Stables and The Chapel) has its own wood burning stove and each property has a flat screen television. Basic amenities, central heating, and free WiFi are all included, along with free parking, a rarity in Bath.
