Staying at the Castle
Nestled in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, just a short taxi ride from the UNESCO World Heritage City of Bath, you’ll find Midford Castle, Scott’s private family home. Scott has lovingly restored the Chapel and Stables on site to create beautiful holiday homes, each with super king size beds, generous living areas, and outdoor patio spaces with BBQ and hot tub facilities. He has also created a large holiday home space in the Castle Vaults, sleeping 18, with breathtaking panoramic views over the valley.
These homes present idyllic accommodation for weddings in and around Bath.
Something special
Sometimes its difficult to find where your guests or you can stay during your wedding weekend, or the wedding of a loved one – especially if you want to make the most of the time off and stay somewhere special. From small lets like The Stables (sleeps 4) to larger lets like The Castle Vaults (sleeps 18), Midford Castle offers luxury stays that can accommodate numbers while offering a taste of luxury. What’s more, if you let The Priest and Vaults together, up to 30 wedding guests can stay on the same grounds.
Each property has been tastefully decorated and balances spacious living areas with a cosy feel, so you’ll settle in with no time letting you focus on the wedding and be ready to put your feet up after the big day. Should you stay for longer than the wedding night, then it’s time to explore! From whiling away the afternoon wandering the grounds or sipping your favourite tipple on the patio, to the Two Tunnels Greenway walking and cycling route on your doorstep, there’s plenty to enjoy. Discover the local picturesque villages, hike through the Somerset countryside and Cotswolds, stumble across some of the region’s finest pubs, or taxi into Bath for its plethora of great restaurants, bars and attractions.
